Electoral Management Service shamefully added fuel to the fire. Approved the stolen election – the U.S. State Department issued a statement congratulating the general Museveni in his “reelection” despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. The State Department’s action amounts to a degradation of the concept and practice of democracy in the world.We urged the government of Uganda to carry out administrative and electoral reforms that will improve significantly in the coming elections and strengthen the commitment his country to multiparty democracy and human rights for the next generation of citizens of Uganda.
