Amar Chitra paipai Anant launched the Indian Katha comic book series in 1967 which was a hit.Pai moment he followed with Tinkle comics series in which the Indian public has taken too great way.The frail but active Pai was admitted to a hospital last weeks for treatment of a fracture after falling from a staircase.religion and mythology. Anant Pai conceptualized all of them, and wrote the scripts for most of them. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award this month to India the first ever Comic convention held in New Delhi on February 19-20.
