Women monthThis s years of history, commemorated the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, a global celebration of economic success, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. International Women’s Day is an occasion to pay tribute to ordinary women around the world and has its roots in the struggle of women for centuries to participate in society on an equal footing with men. This day reminds us that despite enormous progress, there is still work to do before women achieve parity.
