Election Commission of India is also the first time in the history of voting in India, non-resident Indians to express their voice in the assembly elections. The rule of India NRI must register as voters and be physically present on election day. Not be allowed to post balloting.The Electoral Commission announced late Tuesday the electoral calendar for five states that go to the polls on 2011. The polls in West Bengal will be held in six start-up April 18. Kerala Assembly elections will be held April 13 in a single phase, while Assam Assembly elections will be held April 4 and April 11 in two phases.
