National open school
Therefore, the Department of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India established the National Open School (NOS) in November 1989. The pilot project on CBSE Open School merged with the NOS. A resolution (N ยบ F.5-24/90 Sch.3 September 14 1990 published in Gazette India October 20 1990)
