Nakgb Nainital Almora Kshetriya Gramin Bank ( NAKGB ) was established on 26th March, 1983 an was sponsored by Bank of Baroda. At present, it has 58 branches located in Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Its main aim is to provide banking facilities in rural area and provide financial assistance particularly to small, marginal farmers, landless laborers and other weaker sections. NAKGB is a joint venture of Government of India , Government of Uttarakhand and Bank of Baroda. Its head office is situated at Nainital.
