election duty The first batch of paramilitary forces, which would be deployed for election duty across Puducherry, arrived here on Tuesday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Atul Katiyar, the administration has been given 10 companies of paramilitary force though 15 companies were requested. Six of the 10 would be deployed in Puducherry, two in Karaikal and one each in Mahe and Yanam.
